About the Institute

Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College, named after the legendary Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, physician extraordinaire, visionary and architect of modern West Bengal, is one of the pre-eminent institutions of eastern part of India. The Institute came into being on 21st August, 2000. The BCREC campus is built over twelve acres of developed land and offers courses like MBA, MCA, B. Tech, BBA (H) and BCA. It is an ISO: 9001 – 2008 certified institution and three of its programmes are NBA accredited.
Faculty of Management Studies, BCREC: The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), was established in the year 2004 under the auspices of Dr. B C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur. Within its short span of existence FMS has already made its mark as a rapidly growing institution of excellence in the field of business administration. Today FMS is a contemporary and dynamic institution with strong knowledge network, symbiotic relationship with industry and research orientation.
